About TweetXDelete

A browser extension for deleting your X history — built, paused, and rebuilt better.

What this is

TweetXDelete bulk-deletes old posts, likes and reposts on X. It runs as an extension inside your own browser, through the X session you're already logged into — no password prompt, no account linking, no data leaving your device. First 30 deletions are included; after that it's a one-time $4.99 launch price for lifetime access and unlimited deletion.

The honest history

TweetXDelete started as a free web service. In February 2026, X moved its API to pay-per-use pricing — every deletion started costing tools real money, and a free service became arithmetic that doesn't work. We paused rather than pretend otherwise.

In August 2026 we came back with a rebuilt engine that runs entirely in your browser. With no servers of ours doing the work, no subscription is needed — and, as a side effect, a privacy model the old version couldn't offer: deletion never routes through our servers at all.

The principles

  • Your login is not our business. The extension never sees a password and never asks for account access.
  • Your data stays on your device. Posts, likes, and your data archive are read and processed locally. The only thing that ever contacts our server is a license-key check.
  • Your account's safety beats speed. Deletion is deliberately paced to respect X's rate limits. Careful cleanup, always.
  • One payment, priced like it costs us nothing per deletion — because it does. No subscription, no caps, no meter.
