Privacy Policy

1. Overview

TweetXDelete ("we", "us") provides this website and a browser extension that deletes posts, likes and reposts from your own X account. The product's architecture is the privacy policy: deletion runs inside your own browser, through your own X session. Your posts, password, session cookies and data archive never reach our servers.

2. What the extension does NOT collect

  • Your X password (it is never requested, anywhere)
  • Your session tokens or cookies (they stay in your browser)
  • Your posts, likes, reposts or DMs
  • Your X data archive — when you load one, only post IDs and dates are read, on your device; the file is never uploaded
  • Deletion statistics tied to your account

3. What we do process

License key checks (extension)

If you purchase a license, the extension periodically validates your license key with our payment provider. This request contains the key itself and nothing about your X account. Trial usage counts are stored locally in your browser.

Early access & contact emails (website)

If you join the early access list or use the contact form, we receive the email address and message you submit, delivered to us via Web3Forms. We use it to reply and to notify you about the extension release — nothing else.

Website analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, which may collect anonymized usage data such as pages visited, browser type and general location, governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Third-party services

  • X (x.com) — deletion requests go directly from your browser to X, within your own session
  • Payment & licensing provider — processes the one-time purchase and license validation; we never see your card details
  • Web3Forms — relays contact and early-access form submissions to us
  • Google Analytics — website usage statistics
  • Cloudflare — hosts this website

5. Data retention

We retain early-access and contact emails until the correspondence is resolved or you ask us to delete them. License records are retained for as long as your license is active. There is no X account data to retain, because none is ever collected.

6. GDPR rights (EU users)

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your personal data. Since we store almost none, most of these rights are inherently satisfied. For any request, contact privacy@tweetxdelete.com.

7. Children's privacy

TweetXDelete is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
